Domain names are managed and registered by authorized organizations called domain registrars, facilitating the registration and administration process for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
How can I modify information for a domain name?
- To modify information for a domain name, access your domain reseller control panel. Log in to the control panel and navigate to "Manage Domain" and select "List My Domains" from the left-hand side of the navigation bar. Locate the domain name you want to modify and click on it. Fill out the necessary forms with the updated information.
What is Auth code?
- An Auth-Code (also called an Authorization Code, Auth-Info Code, or transfer code) is a code created by a registrar to help identify the domain name holder (also known as a registrant or registered name holder) of a domain name in a generic top-level domain (gTLD) operated under contract with ICANN.
- An Auth-Code is required for a domain holder to transfer a domain name from one registrar to another.

- 1. Log in to your account panel.
- 2. Go to the "Manage Domain" section.
- 3. Select the domain name for which you require the Auth-Code.
- 4. Look for the column labeled "Authorization Code" and click on the "view" button to access the code.
How to transfer a domain to bestcert?
- 1.Prepare the domain for transfer: Ensure that your domain is eligible for transfer. Unlock the domain if it's currently locked and retrieve the authorization code (Auth-Code) from your current registrar.
- 2. Log in to your account panel and go to the "Transfer Domain" section.
- 3. Fill the domain, authcode, and the contactid, then hit "Initiate Transfer" button.
- 4. After you've approved the transfer, we will initiate the transfer process. The transfer usually takes a few days to complete, during which the domain's DNS records and ownership information are updated.
How could I change the DNS of my domain?
- 1. Log in to your account panel and go to the "Manage Domain" section.
- 3. Select the domain name for which you want to change DNS.
- 4. Look for the column labeled "Name Server" and edit the DNS.
- 5. Alternatively, you can use the "DNS Manager" option located at the top of the same page to customize the DNS settings yourself. This option allows you to set up various DNS records, such as A records, CNAME records, MX records, etc., according to your specific requirements.
- 6. Please note that DNS changes may take some time to propagate across the internet. It can typically take a few hours to up to 48 hours for the new DNS settings to take effect globally. During this time, it's advisable to avoid making further changes to the DNS settings to prevent any conflicts or disruptions in the domain's functionality.
